Pastor - Gavin Brown
Born in Baltimore and raised in Laurel Maryland, Pastor Gavin credits his godly grandmother, many godly mothers and fathers in his life, and his childhood home church (now Lifehouse Church) for guiding him in the path of Christian discipleship and service. He graduated from the University of Valley Forge with a B.A. in Youth Ministry and is currently pursuing his MDiv degree. An ordained minster for ten years, Gavin has served at three dynamic and diverse churches over the last thirteen years in full time ministry as a youth & young adults pastor and has traveled extensively throughout the east coast, nation and world ministering and preaching the word of God.
He enjoys communicating the gospel with passion and sees himself more and more in a position similar to the coach of a team, doing his best as God gives grace to raise and build up champions that love Jesus, people, and encouraging them to make a mark on the world for eternity. Gavin loves hanging with his family and friends, making new friends the Redskins, reading, hitting the gym and has a special fondness for gummi bears. He recently transitioned from serving as the student ministries pastor at Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi, Michigan. He and his wife Shekinah has been married for seven years and look forward to the new chapter that God has for them and their girls.
Student Ministries Pastor - Rob Howze
In addition to his ministry at Lifehouse, Rob is the founder of a youth centered organization called World Wide Community, which was established in 2006 for the benefit of students in elementary, middle, and high school to experience various sports, athletic and academic challenges, in a positive and motivational environment.
In 2010 Rob expanded the vision with “Camp Fit”, a program/reality show designed to tackle the childhood obesity epidemic by challenging and developing kids in the area of mind, body, and spirit. Camp Fit is currently on DirecTV and reaches over 35 million homes worldwide!
As a motivational speaker, Rob has been developing and encouraging students for over 15 years. Rob uses innovative methods to reach and inspire young people all over the world by creating an atmosphere of awareness and accountability for students to comfortably embrace. Rob is also a national recording artist known as G.O.L.D. (www.RobHowzespeaks.com) and has been featured on the Russ Parr Morning Show, Fresh TV, DCTV show “Dreams”, and several radio stations across the country. Rob’s music bridges gaps and shatters barriers. His lyrics appeal and apply to every listener despite age, race, and background. When G.O.L.D. hits the stage, he brings a unique abundance of enthusiasm and transmittable energy.
Rob recognizes the struggles, challenges, and disappointments that the next generation faces, therefore his programs and presentations give solutions, alternatives, and offer fresh ways of thinking and problem solving. He uses all of his gifts and experience for one purpose; that is to make a positive long lasting impact in the lives of our young people forever.
Connections Director - Tiffanie Nickleberry
Tiffanie Nickleberry, is a change agent for God. She and her husband, Marshall, joined Lifehouse Church in 2009. As the Connections Team director, Tiffanie enjoys connecting those who are lost with God's people, so that they experience pure, unconditional love. She believes her calling is to serve others as Christ serves us with unadulterated joy. Her ministry consists of coordinating greeters, ushers, seaters, and parking attendants. She feels they have done God's work when any person can walk into their church and experience the saving grace of our Lord and Savior. Tiffany and Marshall thank God for guiding them to Lifehouse Church where people of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds may come together as a family under Christ.
Tiffanie was raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She met her husband Marshall in 2005 after moving to Laurel, Maryland, and is amazed how God created Marshall for her before she was born. He is her greatest gift. In addition to serving God with her husband, Tiffanie enjoys traveling and teaching home based business principles. Kingdom building through the collective acquisition of residual income is a passion. She also loves to read, exercise, and listen to music of all genres and artists.
